Sydney University win the boat race.

When I am in Sydney I try to catch up with as many friends as possible, network where I can, and attend events. 

I try to maintain links to my old universities whenever possible, usually via the alumni associations.  The Australian Graduate School of Managment hold monthly drinks nights and regular "meet the CEO" events. Sydney University hold similar functions. 

This year I was lucky, my time in Sydney coincided with the annual boat race challenge between Sydney University and Melbourne University. Sydney won!
