Northern Roller Mills, Auckland

Auckland still retains a lot of its historical background, even though a lot of the buildings around the waterfront have been converted from warehouses to shops and bars.

The large Northern Roller Mills building still stands, testament to a long gone era.  Flour production continued in this building until 2001, when it finally closed.

I had breakfast one Sunday morning at the cafe on the ground floor.
